What's it all about?
Hello! My name is Paige Konger. I grew up in west Florida helping my dad with our family’s business: The Tarpon Springs Aquarium. Working at the aquarium and growing up a bike-ride away from the Gulf of Mexico has allowed me the opportunity to work with and learn about the astonishing animals and ecosystems we share this planet with. After receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Oklahoma City University, I wanted to find a way to combine my love for the arts with my passion for protecting and caring for the wildlife I grew up with.
Paige’s Planet is a series of educational programs designed to promote preservation through the arts. This is done through a lively YouTube-based social media presence, in-person workshops and gatherings, and continuing my work at the Tarpon Springs Aquarium as well as in Florida’s vibrant theatre community.

With the rest of the Tarpon Springs Aquarium team, I am excited to share my message of preservation through arts education with the community! Paige’s Planet and the Aquarium are now offering workshops, presentations, gatherings, as well as guided field trips and tours of the Aquarium!

Let me or one of our other teaching artists entertain at your next event, birthday party, or assembly! We bring one or more of our animal friends from the aquarium and allow you to have an up close and personal encounter with them! We also include an educational presentation about that animal along with a Q&A session! We can accommodate multiple small classrooms or one large class assembly for any given presentation.

Paige's Planet offers a variety of fun and educational workshops that marry the creativity of fine arts with the excitement of science! Paige will bring the creativity and hands-on animal experiences to you! These workshops are specifically designed to correspond with the Florida State educational standards and vary in length and number of sessions.
