Pre-K Planet Protectors

Age: Pre-K(3+) and Kindergarten

This fun workshop provides a truly hands-on experience for the youngest Planet Protectors! They will make the link between the fun they have outside and the importance of protecting nature. Animal Explorers Workshop

Age: Kindergarten (suitable for Pre-K through 1st)

Time: 60-90 minutes

Sessions: 1

This fun workshop will introduce little explorers to the art of observation using their five senses. They will then use all their senses to meet and interact with two animal friends. They will also explore the differences and similarities between these animals and between the animals and humans. This will be reinforced with an educational musical presentation. Endangered Species and Environmental Impact

Age: 2nd-5th Grade

This exciting workshop will combine theatre, life science, and a hands-on animal experience as students learn how people and their environment impact one another. Invasive Species

Age: 2nd-5th Grade

This fascinating workshop will combine a hands-on animal encounter with one of Florida's most notorious invasive species while combining life science, visual arts, and language arts. Swamp Ecosystem

Age: 2nd-5th Grade

Time: 60 minutes

Sessions: 1

This scaly and creative workshop will bring students face-to-face with a Florida swamp resident and get their creative juices flowing! By combining life science, music, and writing, students will learn about the swamp ecosystem and the food chain that exists within it. Wild World of Animals Workshop

Age: 3rd Grade (can be adjusted for Pre-K through 5th)

This workshop is all inclusive and is designed to help students merge their knowledge of the natural world with storytelling, fun visual aids and creativity! Complete Planet Protector Program

Age: 2nd-5th Grade

For true nature lovers, this thrilling and thorough combination of workshops includes all of the educational fun of the Endangered Species and Environmental Impact, Invasive Species, and Swamp Ecosystem workshops. It is specifically designed for Florida students to understand what can be done for the environment in their home town then express that knowledge through multiple artistic mediums. Florida's Estuaries

Age: 5th Grade (suitable for 4th-6th)

Time: 60-90 minutes

Sessions: 1-2 (syllabus can be modified for time, please inquire)

This incredibly creative workshop will solidify students knowledge of one of the ecosystems in their backyard: the estuary! They will learn about the plant and animal life that calls estuaries home through discussion, multimedia presentations, theater, and art! Students will devise their own play about the estuary ecosystem and create their own sets for their performance.

Evolution Revolution Workshop

Age: 7th Grade (suitable for 6th-8th)

Time: 60-90 minutes

Sessions: 1-2 depending on allotted time

This multi-faceted workshop will bring the scientific theory of evolution to life in a new and exciting way. Students will participate in discussion, educational movement-based games, and of course live animal interaction to reinforce the concepts of natural selection, extinction, environmental factors, and much more. Climate and the Arts

Age: 10th Grade (suitable for 9th-11th)

Time: 60-90 minutes per session

Sessions: 2

This unique workshop is designed to educate, challenge, and encourage students to create. Students will take an in depth look at what factors contribute to the climate and the challenges we face today regarding climate change, how the ocean affects climate change, and how people are affected both now and in the future. Through live animal interaction, they will learn how our animal neighbors can be affected by climate change as well. They will be lead through the process of taking what they learned and creating theatrical art pieces designed to educate and affect change in others.
